Spring/Summer 2026 Fashion Highlights

DEICHMANN presents next season’s trends

Essen, 20.03.2026

Life moves back outdoors in the spring and summer with never-ending days at the beach, wild adventures with the whole family and romantic outdoor dates, all made perfect by the right fashion items. DEICHMANN is unveiling the key footwear models and bags of the season.

Fashions will be as varied as summer itself. Feminine sandals meet modern streetwear sneakers; summery raffia wedges meet casual elitist boat shoes; bold animal designs from leopard to zebra and snake meet clean elegance; delicate pastel colours such as butter yellow meet rich brown tones such as cappuccino, toffee and mocha.

Flowers and bows

Feminine elegance, floral playfulness and soft pastel shades are just some of the stylish details characterising outfits this summer. Sandals, mules, wedges and trainers feature floral appliqués and prints: sometimes subtle, sometimes striking, sometimes with sparkling glitter effect, in animal-look details or on the laces. Regency style bows are also firmly in vogue. Pinks, blues and yellows are joined by transparent materials and tones with more depth, such as burgundy, for accentuation. The looks are rounded off by detail-rich handbags.

Modern Cinderella story

"Strikingly elegant" is the motto of the new courts, sandals and high heels. And the details take centre stage! Alongside buckles, straps and sparkling crystals, the heel itself becomes a striking accessory: transparent and captivating, evoking a modern Cinderella look. Shades of beige emphasise the classic styles, while deep burgundy and black add a touch of sensual sophistication. Shimmering metallic gold and silver details add luxurious appeal. The perfect complement: clean mini bags.

Bohemian dreams

Bohemian look sandals, mules, moccasins and clogs in trendy brown and beige tones make the perfect footwear for balmy summer days. Braiding and crocheted elements, fringes and colourful patterned details make a stroll in the sunshine so much more appealing. Cork wedged heels in muted brown and khaki, or with shimmering metallic details, are another season must-have. Combined into outfits with straw hats and raffia bags, they cut a fine figure both on the beach promenade and in the city.

Yacht club feeling

Whether you're going for a lunch date at the marina or a relaxed stroll through the city centre, boat shoes make a casual chic statement. They are perfectly paired with casual denim shorts, linen trousers or breezy summer dresses. Various shades of brown, grey and beige dominate the colour story. Classic handbags add a touch of luxury, while playful models – with cherry pendants, for example – liven up the look.

Colour palettes

The colour story? Interesting! Inspired by blossoming spring landscapes, the new bag, accessory and shoe designs embrace soft and cheerful colours such as trendy butter yellow, pink and light blue. Shiny silver and gold metallic details glint in the sunlight, adding a glamorous touch to any outfit. They are contrasted against deep black, burgundy and a sumptuous selection of brown shades – from toffee to cappuccino and mocha. These trend colours are featured in the entire collection.

It's gonna be a wild summer

Sneakers, feminine sandals and thongs all incorporate animal print motifs, such as elegant black and white zebra stripes or striking snake prints, turning the streets into a catwalk. Platform heels with chunky soles, big buckles, and bold-coloured insoles are always a good match. And if you can't get enough of animal prints, pick up matching accessories such as a handbag or bucket hat.

Summery-light mules and sandals

Hours of sightseeing in sweltering temperatures – easy peasy with the latest mules and sandals! The models with flat soles and comfy deep footbeds strike the perfect balance between fashion and comfort. All these styles, some with buckles, others in a denim look or with metallic or fringed details, add an air of summery lightness to any outfit. The backpacks and shoppers not only fit perfectly, they are also spacious enough to hold all the things we need on hot days: from water bottles to wallets and sunglasses.

Ballet flats

Ballet flats exude a unique intrinsic charm: they are elegant, feminine and serene – and perfect for carefree summer days. Transparent mesh styles that let us feel the breeze on our skin are a welcome relief in hot temperatures. The black models with a buckle detail are perfect for classy moments, while the brown models with studs are ideal for cool city looks. There are even sporty models with elasticated straps and distinctive silhouettes. They make a great style breaker when worn with a floaty mini dress!

Forever a sneaker girl

Whether you pair them with casual day wear, a stylish business combo or a modern wedding outfit, sneakers are always in style. Low profile designs with slim silhouettes and ultra-thin soles are all the rage. Their fashion statement is further enhanced by subtle tones and soft, velvety velour materials. Models with understated colour combinations, character-defining rubber soles and premium quality leather models are also on trend. On the other side of the spectrum is the jogger. It comes with an elaborately crafted shaft, material contrasts and the defining Y2K style, but makes less of a statement than in previous seasons.

Men's styles

Hot summer days and open shoes are the perfect companions! Men's highlights? Eye-catching trekking sandals and stylish mules with wide straps and buckles. Shades of light grey and blue freshen up any outfit, while trendy brown tones, from toffee to mocha, rich mustard yellow and khaki, create visual warmth and harmony. These colours infuse stylish clogs, mules and moccasins with a generous pinch of bohemian charm. Loafers, while more understated, seamlessly blend summer sophistication with comfort and are ideal for office days. Boat shoes, another hot-season essential, charmingly balance casual ease and refined elegance. Business lace-ups are the go to for special occasions – or trainers if we're feeling experimental. Clean court styles and distinctive joggers with subtle colours or bold contrasts, as well as striking gold and silver looks, turn every step into a fashion statement.

Fashion and fun: everything for the kids

Get out there, enjoy life and share adventures – with the whole family, of course. The warm months are the best time of the year for all these things. Little people explore the world in cute baby walker sneakers and sandals that provide optimal foot support and toe protection. On-trend girls styles come in summery pastel colours such as pink, lavender and butter yellow and feature cute details such as heart prints, glitter, bows and flowers. The details are a nod to the women's footwear trend and a great opportunity to create fabulous mini-me outfits. Boys styles are a little more conservative, with colours such as grey, brown, blue and green, as well as cool dinosaur motifs. The trainers for bigger kids are also based on the adult styles. They come in both striking Y2K silhouettes and slim low profiles.
