Therefore, we at DEICHMANN are committed to take and follow up concerns raised by individuals, organizations, business partners and other parties.

In events of human rights violations, environmental concerns, health and safety hazards, and other concerns, quick and trustful actions are required. If you are affected or have observed a violation, we provide you with an easy way to file a complaint. We guarantee that every complaint will be investigated and treated anonymously and confidentially.

What do we need from you?
1. Name (if you do not wish to provide a name, you may submit anonymously; however, this may complicate and delay the processing of the complaint)
2. Contact information, e.g. telephone number, e-mail address or postal address
3. Country and city where you are located and, if applicable, production site or other information that allows a clear identification of the location
4. Detailed description including date or time period of the human rights, environmental, health or safety related notice. If available, feel free to submit supporting evidence.
5. Information whether the complainant or other affected parties must remain anonymous and protected.

How is your complaint processed?
1. After receipt of the message we will acknowledge the receipt of the complaint within 24 hours.
2. The DEICHMANN Human Rights Officer determines the reason of the complaint and checks its admissibility. If the complaint is found admissible, a detailed investigation is conducted and the complainant is informed about the expected processing period.
3. If a deeper investigation is necessary, DEICHMANN will conduct its own on-site inspection or assign a service provider. The costs for these inspections will be borne by DEICHMANN.
4. Subsequently, the complaint can be resolved by a mutually agreed remedy between the parties. If no agreement is possible, DEICHMANN reserves the right to decide the outcome of the complaint after extensive consideration of all aspects.
5. Should the DEICHMANN Group’s actions have caused or contributed to the complaint, we will initiate processes to remedy the grievance or mitigate its effects and prevent its recurrence if possible.
